+ FEILDING RAINFALL. TO THE KDITOn OF THE STAR. Sir, — The total rainfall during the past year was 33.78 inches as against 30.37 inches for the year 1891. The average rainfall for the 10 years 1883 | to 1892 (both inclusive) was 36*38 inches, No very heavy rain falling during any 24 hours in the past year was registered, and only on two occasions was one inc!i and upwards registered, viz., 1-06 inches on 2nd January, and I*o3 inches on the 11th July.
