" Old Pedestrian " sends us the following tips for the Boxing Day Sports : — Sheffield Handicap— Holder, 1 ; A. W. Watts, 2 ; (Jr. Poster, 3 ; with W. Derungs for a boil over. Walking, 1 mile— Leslie or McNiven to furnish the winner, with Anderson and G. Johansen next best. 440 yards — Burrell, 1 ; Francis, 2 ; H. Taylor, 3 ; with Oliphant for an outside show. Vaulting — A. Adsett, 1. Manchester Handicap — H. R. Woon 1 ; G. King, 2 ; Donnelly, 3 ; and Peatson for a good outsider. 220 hurdles— Arnott, 1 ; A. W. Watts, 2 j Bear, 3. 2 miles Bicycle race— Ogilvie, 1 ; McGuistan 2. High Jump — Arnott 1. Half mile— G. King, 1 ; Burrell, 2 ; Taylor, 3 ; with Woon to upset the pot. Bracelet — Francis, 1 ; Norton, 2 ; A. W. Watts, 3. 120 yards hurdles — Arnott, 1 ; Bear, 2. The two Amateur events will go to N. L. Gurr, if he starts.
