♦ The Wanganui Herald considers it probable that Colonel Fox will visit Palmerston during the annual six day's training of the Manawatu Mounted Kifles. The eatne journal mentions that Major Purnell has just received from Sydney two large photographic groups of the colony's representatives at the late N.S.W.E.A. Meeting. One group represents the champion team of six, and the other the New Zealand team of ten reps., the likenesses in each case being excellent, the only absentee being Gunner P. Weir, of the Thames Navals, who was unfortunately not able to be present. Members of the Manchester Bifles are reminded there will be no parade on Thursday night.
