TO THE EDITOR OF THE STAR. Sir,—" Awakes" letter in your Thursday's issue on Sunday bathing in full view of the public, is rather surprising. Surely he must possess a little modesty, no one objects to " Awake" or his friends washing the week's dirt off in the Oroua, but the least thing they can do (as I believe Adam and Eve endeavored to do, in fact accomplished) is to hide their nakedness. Perhaps had " Awake" any daughters, er even a sweetheart, and happened to be out for a stroll on the public road the sight of a score of naked men and 11 boys" might make " Awake" wish he was a Sleepy Head.
