Messrs Freeman B. Jackson and Co. report as follows:— All descriptions of store stock are in good demand. The flush of feed being great farmers are anxious to get it eaten': down, consequently bidding is keen for stores. Our yards have been well filled during the fortnight, and all sold; at current- quota* tions. Pigs were well competed for, and made very good prices. We quote: — Cattle.— At Waverley— Steers, £8; to £3 6s; cows, £3 10a to &.7s;i heifers, £8; weaners, £2 3a. At St. Hill street— Fat cows, £4: 5s to £& 6s 6d ; store bullocks, £4 16s ; steers, L 2 7s to L 3 10s * cows, L 3 16s to L 4 6s ; heifers, ; L 2 11s. Sheep. — At Waverley — Hoggets, 10s 6d to 13s 9d; shorn, 10s; old ewes and lambs, 108 Bd. At St. Hill street— Ewes and lambs, lls 5d to 13s 2d ; hoggets, lls to 13s 1. Pigs— Large porkers, 20s to 29s 6d ; others, lls 9s to 20s ; small pigs, 4s9dtoßs6d.
