The following are the tips of the leading sporting writers for the principal forthcoming events at the V.R.C. " Asmodeus " fancies Paris, Bungebah, The Admiral, or Redfern best, in the order named, for the Stakes; Camoola, Candour, and Azim for the Derby ; and he considers Camoola, Portsea, Clonard, Forty Winks, and Correze are the best in the Cup, and they should pass the post in the order named. October 28. Malvolio is pronounced favourite for the Cap at 100 to 14. Despite the prejudicial reports of the Caulfield touts, Tiralleur presents a highly trained appearance, being as playful as a two-year»old. Sternchaser also reflects much credit on the trainer. The following are acceptors for the Derby: -Azim, EUwich, Woolf. Meli. Jonathan. Candour, Calculus, Ulric, Donation, Comoola, Goldtop, Mainstay. The Captain Royal
