Messrs Stevens and Gorton report as 1 follows : — There were fair entries of cattle and sheep at our Feilding saleyards yesterday. There was a brisk demand especially for sheep, which were all sold, : as were the cattle with the exception of one pen. Quotations— Bullocks 3i year £4t 17s, 3 year steers, £3 17s 6d, 2* year mixed steers £3 Is, 2| year heifers in calf £d 2s 6d, 2£ year steers £3 10s, forward cows £i ss, yearlings 36s 6d to 425. Sheep— Store wethers 12s Bd, mixed hoggets in wool, various prices from 11s Id to 13s 9d, ewes and lambs 15s. Medium sized porkers 15s, small pigs, 5s 6d.
