Volunteer Items

The Manchester Eifles were inspected by Lieut-Colonel Newall on Thursday last. The attendance was not so good as the occasion deserved. The men were drilled by the officers and non-commissioned officers and acquitted- themselves well. The next two parades will be held on Thursday the 15th and 22nd respectively in the Assembly Booms, as the Wracks are two small to permit of company movements. All members are requested to be present to. fall in at 7.30 p.m. sharp.
