The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) advise tbey i have received the following cable frotn their London office, dated London, 19th August, 1892:— Mutton— Market firmer. Canterbury mutton is worth 3jd ', per lb; Wellington, 3£d. Lamb— Market j ia easier. Prime New Zonland are worth | per carcase o|d per lb. Beof— Market is 1 quiet. Foroquartors, 2sd per lb; hind- ' quarters, 3£d per lb. Tallow— Market depressed. Fine mutton tallow is worth 25s 6d, and good beef 23s 6d per owt, New Zealand Hemp— Market firmer. Medium is worth £16 10s per ton.
