Eendlep, won the Grand National Steeplechase, with Boulevard second, Freeman third, both run at the V.A.T.C. Meeting. Sydney, August 15, The following horses haye dropped out of the Metropolitan Stakes :— Stromboli, Donizetti, Talkative, Avagos, Insigna, Wandsworth, Honour Bright, Mancer, Cannon, Knight, and Everestas. CHRisTcriLißcn, August 13. The following are the results of the second's racing at the C.J.C. Grand National Meeting : — August Handicap (flat). — Aquarius 1, Wanganni 2, Merrie England 3. Dividends, £1 4s 6d and £6 Is 6d. Christchurch Hunt Club Cup.— Glen 1, Waitangi 2, Industry 3. Dividends, £12 6s 6d and £13 3s 6d. New Zealand Grand National Hurdle Eace.— Kulnine 1, Erin-go-Bragh 2, Captain Webb 3. Dividends, £2 2s and £2 Is 6d. Beaufort Steeple Handicap.—Whalebone 1, Ahua 2, Sir Garnet 3. Dividends, £2 14s 6d and £2 17s 6d. The Second Hunters' Hurdle Handicap was won by Marangai ; the Final Hurdle Handicap was won by Smuggler ; and the Hunt Club's Ladies' Bracelet won by Mountain Maid.
