New Zealand beef— Fore-quarters, 2&d; hind-quarters, 3§d, The hemp market is dull, and prices irregular, a decline of 20s having taken place of late. Frozen Meats. — The mutton market is steady. Canterbury mutton, 4d per lb ; Wellington mutton, 3?d per lb. The lamb market is unchanged. Prime New Zetland lamb is worth 5-£ d per lb per carcase. Beef market is firmer. Quotations—New Zealand beef, hindquarters, 3|d per lb; New Zealand beef, fore quarters, 2^3. per lb.
