The junior match between Eangitikei And the Pirates resulted in an appeal to the Bugby Union. Rangitikei scored a fair try and a disputed try and the Pirates obtained a disputed goal. Palmerston II defeated Kea Kaka by 12 points to nil. Marton II second forfeited to Feilding Hand Hunterville forfeited to Awahuri. The following is the team chosen to represent the Feilding seniors against Palmerston, on the Oval, on Saturday, the 23rd July: — Joe Robinson, Roache, Jack Robinson, A. Parr, Udy, Dyer, Strachan, Matravers, R. Whisker, Campbell, J. Whisker, Aitken, B. Whisker, Smith and Watts ; emergencies, Collins and Lucre. All the players are requested to train actively and to be punctual in rolling up to the match.
