Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co, received Saturday the following cable message from their London house, Messrs Sanderson, Murray and Co., regarding the wool sales, dated London, 14th July : — *' Of late the market has been weak and irregular. The sales haye closed with animation. Compared with opening rates for greasj merino extra good, crossbred greasy fine, and crossbred coarse, the market shows no change. Crossbred medium.— The market has declined 5 per cent. Merino inferior and merino medium.— -The market has declined 7$ per cent. For scoured merino and crossbred the market is verj weak. Forty-five thousand bales have been held over."
