He said we have ! a system to be proud of, likes all^ human things having > its imperfections, but he would, as far: - r as; possible, prevent its being- changed in the direction of making it denominational.,Asked if he would assist in altering the law regulating voting for. a loan lander the Loans to Local Bodies Act, So that a bare majority of those, actually voting would carry a loan proposal. Mr Brace; > thought the law might; be altered -with some advantage, but as hV was pot,, thoroughly posted in these matters tie would look them up.
