MB. BRUCE AT COLYTON. Mr Bruce had a very good meeting at Col y ton on Monday evening last, the largest in fact that was ever held in the Mangaone Hall Mr Owen Pleasants was voted to the chair who, in a few words, introduced Mr Bruce to the electors. The meeting was very orderly and listened attentively to the speaker, Mr Bruce answered all questions to the full I satisfaction of bis hearers, and on the proposal ©f Mr Percy, C. Francis seconded by ...Mr r _ Lankshear, (in fact when the Chairman asked who seconded the proposition several gentlemen jumped, up:. saying:'? l do ") the meeting accorded Mr Bruce a unanimous and hearty vote of thanks.
