Feilding Licensing Bench

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the above was bench was held at tho Court House, this morning. Present— Messrs H, L. Sherwill (chairman), E. Goodbehere, Henry Rutherford, W. G. Haybittle, and G. Kir ton. NEW LICENSES. Mr H. Wollerman applied for a license for the building now nearly completed, to be known as the Manchester Hotel. Mr W. A. Sandilands appeared for the applicant. Constable Tuohy objected, but admitted more accommodation was required in the town. The license was granted. R. Halloj applied for a license for the Shamrock Hotel id Fergussou street. Mr Prior appeared for the applicant. . Application refused. RENEWALS OF LICENSES. W. Light, Denbigh Hotel ; M. Hastie, Feilding Hotel; M. Oliver, Empire Hotel. The above renewals were granted. Mr Sandilanda appearing for each applicant. This was all the business.
