♦ Messrs F. R. Jackson and Co report on their Johnsonville sale yesterday as follows : —Fat cattle were in average numbers, and were prime throughout, and found ready sale at 17s per 1001 bs. The entry of sheep was principally ewes, the demand for which was limited, prices ranging from Us to 14s. Pigs were dull of sale throughout. At Waverley : Fat cows, £4 to £5 3s ; milch cows, £4 17s 9d ; steers, £3 6s to £4 15s 6d • heifers. £3 7s 6d ; yearlings, 34s to 38s. At St. Hill-street: Fat cows, £3 17s to £5 Is ; store cows, £3 3s, to £'d 10s 6d ; cows and calves, £4 15s ; steers, £3 3s 6d to £4 3s ; yearling steers, £2 4s to £2 lls , milch cows, £4 5s to £7 2s 6d. At Waverley : Wethers, lls to 11 4 d ; ewes, 9s Id to 12s 2d ; old ewes, 6s -, lambs, 8s to 9s ; culls, ss. At Wan gauui : Fat wel hers, 12s lOd to 14s 3d ; fat ewes, 12s 3d to 12s 6d ; store wethers, 9s 4d to lls 4d ; ewes, 9s to lls ; ewe lambs, 8s 6d ; otheas, 6s 6d to 7s ; woolly lambs, 9s ; old ewes, 5s 3d. Pigs .— Baconers, 29s to 355; porkers, 12s 6d to 17s ; stores, 7s 6d to 9s 6d : small pigs, Is 6d to ss.
