» The Manawatu Standard of Tuesday says : — lt is seldom the lot of n Palmers* ton audience to witness such a really good performance as was given in the Theatre Royal last evening by the Palmer Comedy Company on their first apnearnnce in this town. If applause and laugh ter and thorough appreciation goes for any thine;, then we can at once say that no prcrious company has met with such a favourable reception in Palmerston, and the season will, we are assured, be a yerv remunerative one. The management deserve to be rewarded thus, for truthfully it can be said that the combination is undoubtedly the best of its kind thit has yet visited us." We expect to see a crowded house this evening, as the company only appear for one night. (PKB PEES9 ASSOCIATION.) Palmkrston North, April 27.
