♦ The Wanganui Jockey Club have reeeived 41 nominations for the Two-year-old Stakes (1893) and 43 for the Derby (1893) The local horses nominated are ; For the Two-year-old Stakes— Mr H. YLethbridge's r.f ., by TorpodoPime, and a colt by Torpedo-Form. For the Derby — Mr D. Scott's b.f.. by Armament Ca« melia, Mr H. Y. Lethbridge's r.f., by Torpedo Fame, and colt by TorpedoForm. (per press association. Wanganui, April 27. The following weights for the Steeplechase were declared last night : — Wanganui Handicap Steeplechase, of 225 8OV8 ; three miles— Whalebone, 11«7 ; Sir Garnefc, 11-5 ; Ingorangi, 10-10 ; Auckland and Chance, 10-9; Couranto, 10-7; Somnambulist and Gladius, 10-5; Commotion, 10-3 ; Dan, Shillelagh and Christmas, 10-0 ; Waterbury and Hiamoe, 9-12; Lyndoora, Dangerous and Kaimanawa, 9-10; The Dunce, Flintstone and Jacob, 9-7. Wellington, This Day. The races have been further postponed until Saturday.
