«. STEVENS & GORTON'S STOCK REPORT. The annual ram and sheep fair held by Messrs Stevens and Gorton at their Feilding yards yesterday was yery numerously attended, and was one of the largest sales ever held in Feilding. The bidding for the various lots was brisk throughout and only a couple of pens of sheep were unsold. The demand for wethers and young ewes was very strong. The following are the prices realised. Sheep. Fat wethers, 13s; forward do, lis 6d tol2s6d; store do, 10s to lis 6d; 2tooth ewes, 12s to 15s 4d ; woolly lambs, 7s to 8s 9d ; shorn lambs, 5s 6d to 7s 3d ; breeding ewes, mixed ages, 10s to 12s ; full-mouthed ewes, 7s to IOs ; 2 and 4tooth ewes from 12s to 14s 3d. On account of Mr Bryce, rams from 3 to 6f guineas, ayerage 3-J guineas. On account of W. Hastie, rams, from lj to 4J guineas. On account of Mr Harding, Romney Rams 1 j guineas each. On accouut of Mr Fergusson, rams lj guineas. On account of Messrs Wood and Dean, Romney rams from 3£ to 4£ guineas. On account of Peter Stewart, Lincoln rams from 2£ to 3£ guineas. Freeman R. Jackson and Co report ot their Palmerston sale as follows : — 2* tooth ewes (a small lot only), 13s 6d ; 2 and 4-tooth ewes, 13s ; f m breeding ewes, 10s 7d to 13s 9d ; halfbred ewes, 9s sd; 2 tooth wethers 9s to 10s 7d ; shorn lambs, 3s 7d to 6s 8d ; halfbred Shropshires, unshorn. 6s 9d ; 2-tooth Lincoln rams, 2f to 5i guineas ; a few of Mr Cobb's Romney rams, 6 to 9£ guineas, the ewes lj guineas.
