The River Singers

M-»_ . Thi3 beautiful " Service of Song," which is to be rendered by the choir and Sunday School children of the Prebyterian Church, Feilding, assisted by friends, on February 19, promises to be a great success. The reading portion of the service is an abridgment of that beautiful story " The Biver Singers," published by Messrs Bernrose and Sons. The musical portion is supplied by Mr John Burnham, Metropolitan Tabernacle Eyangelist, whose compositions have already found widespread favor. The musical selections, which consist of solos, duets, quartettes, and full choruses are giyen by_ the choir. The children (who are not visible to the audience) supply the music representing the singing on the river as described in the service. The service ha 3 been rendered in "Wellington with marked success, and we have every confidence that the Feilding singers will be greeted with a large audience.
