+ (from our own correspondent.) Mr Thos. Gardner told me on Friday that ho had 70 signatures on the petition asking the Manchester Road Board to moye the toll gate to the boundary of the Fitzherhert Road to reheye Mr Cotter and the Gardner Bros, of tolls as they are ratepayers in No 6 ward. Tho Road Board body visited the Gorge to-day and as a result gave permission for the removal. Messrs Cotter and Gardner gaye £20 towards the cost.
