Feilding Hunt Club

.Frußuant ro nofine the annual mepting; of the above vras held at Mrs Oliver's Empire Hotel, on Saturday night. The attendance was not so large as the occasion deserved. Mr John Haxou presided. The secretary read the minutes of the previous annual meeting which were duly confirmed. Correspondence from the Secretary of the Wellington Hunt Club was read and discussed. The statements of accounts aud receipts and expenditure of the last steeplechase meeting were read and adopted. They showed £23 10s 2d cash in hand, aud £6 6s outstanding subscriptions. A resolution was passed authorising the Secretary to collect the latter as soon as possible. An amount of £25 due to the Wellington Club, was ordered to be paid forthwith. It was proposed by Mr Ward, seconded by Mr Lance, that steps be taken to sever connection with Welliugtou, and in terms of the existing agreement to divide the hounds, Mr Love joy, to pick for the Feilding Club. — Carried. Resolved that a vote of thauks be accorded Mr Charles Carr, for his valuable services at the last steeplechase meeting. The election of officer was postponed until a future date, and the meeting adjourned sejii die, after paying the usual compliment to the chairman.
