The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following cable advice from their London office, dated 18th, instant : — Tallow.—There is a ruther better demand. Good mutton tallow is worth 27s 3d per cwt. ; good beef, 25s 9d, and edible beef, 27s 6d. Frozen Beef. — The market for mutton is firmer ; lamb, unchanged, and for beef, the market is very qaiei ; New Zealand beef, fore-quarters is worth 2|d per /lb. Other quotati'-ns are unchanged.
