Eleven horses started. Time 7min 12sec. The Waveeley Handicap, of lOfovs •each with 500 soys added ; second horse 100 soys from the prize. One mile and three quarters. — Marvel, 10-5 I ; Coblam, 9-0 2; Warrego, 7-0 3. Six horses ■started. Time, 3min 6sec. The Eandwick Plate, of 20 soys each, 1 ft, with 650 soys added; second, 150 «ovs ; and third, 150 soys from the stake ; *w.f.a. Three miles.— Megaphone, 9-0 1 ; Melos, 9-9 2; Albemarle, 6-12 3. The victories of Marvel and Megaphone were received with great enthusiasm.
