Time, lmin 58sec. The Steeplechase, of 10 soys each, "with 400 soys added ; second 50 soys from the stakes about three miles. — Caledonian, '9-7 1 ; Bushman, 11-9 2 ; Marmion, 10-10 3. Eleven horses started. Time 7min 12sec. The Waveeley Handicap, of lOfovs •each with 500 soys added ; second horse 100 soys from the prize. One mile and three quarters. — Marvel, 10-5 I ; Coblam, 9-0 2; Warrego, 7-0 3. Six horses ■started. Time, 3min 6sec. The Eandwick Plate, of 20 soys each, 1 ft, with 650 soys added; second, 150 «ovs ; and third, 150 soys from the stake ; *w.f.a. Three miles.— Megaphone, 9-0 1 ; Melos, 9-9 2; Albemarle, 6-12 3. Time, >smin 32^-sec. Final Handicap, of 5 soys with 200 soys added ; second horse 50 soys from the stake. One mile and a quarter. — ; Elymas, 1; Eealm, 2; Sir Anthony, 3. Time, 2min llsec. The victories of Marvel and Megaphone were received with great enthusiasm.
