The Property Tax valuation of land will be made this year as on November Ist, instead of October Ist. Applications are now being invited hy the Department from competent yaluers who are willing to act as Assessors. It is intended in the more important districts, to appoint Inspecting Assessors who will confer with the Assessors. By this method it is hoped a uniform estimate of land values will be arrived at.
