Dudh was scratched for tbe New Zealand Cup at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Napjeb, July 25. The Committe of the Hawkes BayJockey to-day drew up the following: findings on the Carmo affair :— * Tbat the bay gelding that ran at tbe Town aruT Suburban race meeting on the 26th May . last under the name of Carmo is the same l horse that ran at Flemington, Victoria, in 1886, under the name of Problem j. • that also ran at Forbury, Otago, in 1886 r under the' name of Warepa, and also ran at Westport on the 26th December last, and x at Greymouth on 31st December and Ist January last, under t the name of Redeem. The Committee find that the horse Problem was disqualified for ever in 1886 by the Dunedin Jockey Club, and, this Club, then endorsed that decision.- ' The following is a description of thehorse: — Light bay -gelding, aged, about--16 hands, white blaze down the face, two . white hind points extending up over th* ] fetlock joints ; white marks over the* cornet on the fore-legs, both fore-hoof* have been tampered with; brand F oa off-side close up to the mane. The Committee disqualified for life the owners, nominator and trainer.
