1 PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. 1 Wellington, This Day. With reference to the Oroua mystery, Dr Rockstrow has reported to the police here that 16 or 17 years ago he held an inquest on the body of a man who died from exposure after a drinking bout, and, in the absence of proper means, the body was buried in the locality in questiou. The Premier this morning received a cable from Witheford, respecting the sale of the N.Z. railways to an English syndicate. An answer was promptly sent that the proposal was preposterous, and could not be entertained for a moment. Marton, This Day. A man named William Soarrow, suicided yesterday at Sanson by drowning himself. The deceased, who was 32 years of age, and unmarried, complained latelv of pains and noises in his head. At the inquest held yesterday at Oroua Downs, as to cause of death of tht man exhumed there recently* nothing new was elieited and an open verdict was returned,
