Feilding School Committee

A meeting of the aboye was held night. Present— Messrs Lethbndge (Chairman), Worsfold and Gould. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. CORRESPONDENCE. From Head Teacher, report, stating the average attendance for last quarter was 257, and asking for sundry repairs. From Education Board, with report of the Inspector's last uurprise visit, and other matter. GENERAL. Resolved that the Chairman apply to the Board for the school requisites as indicated in the report of the Inspector. The following tenders for cleaning the school were received : — Janet Barker, £23 ; Jane Turner, £24 ; C, Seigeil, £27. Tne tender of Janet Barker (£23) was accepted. Resolved, That the Chairman and Secretary be a visiting committee for the ensuing month. After passing accounts for payment (£2 Is 8d) the meeting adjourned.
