A Useful Member

Although we hare never professed to be admirers of Mr Wilson, the member for Pal mere ton North, yet we are always glad to give him praise when occasion offers. An incidsut, chronicled in the Manawatu Times, gives us tbe opportunity. The residents of Longburu waut«d a money order office attached to their poet office. Mr Wil son saw a local to that effect in the paper mentioned, and at once wrote to the Secretary of the Postal departnieut, who promised to make arrangements as soon as a new postmaster was appointed. We join with our contemporary in congratulating Mr Wilson on his promptness and energy in dealing with a matter which is one of considerable importance to a number of his constituents.
