Awahuri School
The usual monthly meeting of the Awahuri School Committee was held on the 11th instant, the following members Tbeing present— Messrs P, Stewart (chair), Mends, Worsfold, Nairn and Bowater. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, and accounts amounting to .£ll 4s Id were passed for jayment. It was resolved that a hearty vote of thanks be tendered to Mrs Nye and. Miss McDougall for kindly providing refreshments for the Sanson visitors on the 2nd instant. A similar vote of thanks to Messrs Nairn, Worsfold, andßowater was recorded for their services in connection 'with the concert. The Chairman was instructed to write to the Sanson choir thanking them for their valuable services in aid of the Awahuri School funds.
