It 19 reported, says a contemporary, that Sir Walter Buller, who recently arrived from England,- intends offer iug himself to the Bruce constituency in Otago, at the next general election. Some surprise has been expressed at Sir Walter selecting; a southern constituency. We uuderstanri that Mr R. E. N. Twopenny, late editor of the Otago ''Daily Times, intends to contest either Dunedin or suburbs at the -next election.
