Feilding Block

(FROM OUR OWN XK)BB_!BPONI)ENT.) The block is looking quite lively mth new settlers coming in to take. possession, of their recently made homes. Three families with tbeir lares and jenates, poultry and stock have just put in an appearance, and we are beginning to think it is about time a start was made in laying oft, forming and metalling the much needed roads. Some people complain -that they are worse off than ever in that respect. However, we have - every confidence that our warden, Mr Fowles, will do his best to mend matters. One settler, bnngs more, and six hew houses have gone up in the last few weeks. Onrnext great want will be a school, as the children are rapidly increasing on all sides. The grass feed is in great plenty and all' stock is in grand condition.
