The neighbors found the murderer and conveyed him to the scene of the tragedy, and cut off his arms and legs, and finally his head, with an axe. Chicago, February 16. During the services in one of the churches in this city, a chorister was shot dead by a man whom he had attempted to reclaim. The assassin, while in the act of being arrested, committed suicide.
