There was a good dvuiaud for superior wools, but uot so uiuufi for inferior sorts. The prices obtained were in most cases equal to the last series, crossbred wools realising 9.1 to lOJd ; half bred, 9d to l/l ; meriao, B£d to 9£d ; locks, 2Jd to4£d ; pieces, "Ed to 6d. December 20. The wool sales concluded to-day. Yesterday's puces were fully maintained, half-bred wool realising U£cl per pound. Quite two-thirds of the catalogue submitted changed hands. ■ Several large lines were withdrawn, but are expected to be sold privately T as buyers are anxious to secure them.
