The following are the Traffic Returns for the Wanganui section oE railway for the four weeks ending 9th November^: 1889, and for the corresponding poriod in 1888 : — Passengers ... 2501 7 1 2176 13 3 Parcels ... 271 18 4 272 7 9 Goods ... 3096 17 10 2258 7 2 Miscellaneous 370 16 9 240 12 0 0 0 J4948 0 2 1889 1888 _ In 1888 wool was 104 tons; in 1889, 290. Merchandise shows an increase of 700 tons.
