Volunteer Items
The Manchester Eifles will parade for drill to-morrow night. So far as is known here General Edwards, who is about to inspect the Volunteers of the colony, will not visit this district. In other places the authorities have had notice to prepare for his inspection, but no instructions of the kind have been received here. Herald. Major-General Edwards is not coming to New Zealand.
