I PER UNITED PHESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, August 21, The racing rules, as amended by the recent meeting of delegates from Metropolitan Clubs are in the hands of the printer, and will be published shortly. Provision is made that all meetings of over £100 are to be advertised in the Eacing Calendar. The amount of added money to be given by clubs holding one or more meet ings during the year is fixed, and no club giving less than £100 on one day will be allowed to use the totalizator. Disqualification by Metropolitan clubs i » to take effect immediately throughout the colony, but disqualification by county clubs will not do so until endorsed by the Metropolitan club to which they are affiliated. The Metropolitan clubs will not recognise trotting or pony racing. The new rules come into operation on Ist October : next.
