None of the entries were first-class, but the demand waa good for all soita. Beef made 12/6 the 1001 b; weather mutton 2£d to 2JI ; ewe mutton, 2d per lb. Quotations : — Cattle. —Bullocks from £4 2/6 to £5 15/- the different averages being £5 4/2, £4 1 l/l, and £4 3/3 ; vealers, 14/- to 20/, Sheep.— Wethers, 12/- to 13/3 ; ewes, 10/7 to 10/10; light ewes, 9/2 9/5.
