Death of Mrs. J. G. Thompson
The tidings of the death of Mrs J. C. Thompson, which took place in Auckland yesterday, was received with general regret in Feilding, where the deceased lady was well known and highly respected. Mrs Thompson had been ailing for many months prior to her decease, and it was with the view of benefitting by the change of air that she was removed to Auckland, but although she received temporary relief, yet the disease from which she suffered proved too deeply seated for a permanent cure to be affected. We, and the many friends of Mr Thompson, sympathise with him in his sad bereavement.
