By Electric Telegraph. — Copyright, (per united press association.) London, April 26. The wool sales re-opened to»day with prices very firm. There was a large attendance of buyers and keen competition. The present series will close on May 4th. The wool market is spirited, with an upward tendency. The tallow market is firm. Best .-mutton tallow has advanced Is since last wHrtt; and is now quoted at 27s <>•! to 28s. Best beef tallow has advanced 6d, and is now at 25s to 26s 6d. Ox beef remains firm, being now quoted at 3f 1 to *£l per lb. Galvauised irou oak brand) &as declined, and is quoted at £16 £>er ton. The price of frozen mutton and %eef remains unchanged. Messrs Murray, Roberts & Co. have • received the following telegram from their London office, dated 25th inst, : Wool market firmer, but uot quotably Jugher. -
