STEVENS & GORTON'S STOCK REPORT. Bulls, April 20. The entries at Awahuri vere not so large as at previous sales, but those at Marton were considerably in excess of the number advertised. The want of rain caused a drop in value of all classes of sheep, and sa"es effected were in consequence in favour of purchasers. Sheep. — Awahuri fat ewes, 7/8 ; breeding ewes, mixed ages, 7/- ; ■woolley lam bs, forward, 6/9; shorn, 4/6 to 5/8 ; Lincoln lambs, l£d. At Marton— fat wethers 9/9; 2-tooth wethers, 8/1 ; forward wethers, 8/- ; 2 and 4-toorh wethers, 8/9 ; breeding owes, 5/- to 6/6. Cattle, At Awahuri. — Milkers, L 3 2/6 to L 5 10/- ; At Marton— Milkers, mixed, 18-months, 10/- ; cows, 27/- to 30/- ; 18-month steers, 25/- ; yearling and 2-year-old heifers, 18/-.
