FEILDING RACES, The Feilding Jockey Club's Easter meeting, which came off yesterday, proved to be one of the most successful ever held on the course. The weather was splendid, and the attendance was the best ever seen on the ground. Larga fields went to the post in every race, with the exception of the hurdle race, and the finishes in most of the events were very exciting. A meed of praise is due to Mr J E. Henry, the Club's successful handicapper, to Mr W. A. Sandilands, secretary, and to the stewards, each and all of whom exerted themselves to the utmost in carrying out their respective duties. Messrs Summers and Stewart " held" the publican's booth, and Mr J. Smith the refreshment booth, and each appea ed to be well patronised during the day. Tire Feilding Brass Band was on the ground, and enlivened the proceedings with various selections of music.
