The foretopmast was shattered and fell over the stein. One man waa cut in half, another had his head cut off, and two others were horribly scalded, so that the flesh fell off their bones, and they died. Thus four men in all met their deaths by the explosion. Melbourne, December 7. Tho Chinese Bill has passed the Assembly. The reyenue for the last five months has swelled in a somewhat sensational manner. The returns show an increase of £798.000 over the corresponding period of last year.
