Johnsonville, September : l9. The beef entered for to-day's sale was generally of, good quality. Bid-ding- was brisk for all descriptions of stock. Sheep 1' advanced upon last! week's rates- and pigs, of which there was. a very large t supply, sold at full value, with keen competition, Beef made from 15s to 16s the lOOlbs, and mutton 2fd to .3d per lb. Oafctle.— Best bullocks made from £6 5s to '£<> los, the line of 23 head averaging £7 ; other lots averaged £6 5s and £6 2s ld^ Sheep.— Wethers, 15s 6d to 17s; lambs, 8s 8d to 10s. Pigs.— Baconers, £2 10s to £2 18s; .others, £1 7s to £2 ls; porkers, 17s to , 26s; ; stores, 7s 6d to 15s 6d ; small pigs, 48 to 6s. . . .
