At the yards Arahura on Monday Sept. 10th, there was a fair attendance of buyers, and bidding brisk, sales showing a considerable advance on last prices. Fat Cattle— Mark Sprot and Co yarded 45 head, which 'found buyers at*2ss per lOOlbs, G. W. Moss and Co., draft of 40 head being quoted at similar prices. Fat Sheep — Mark Sprot and Co. yarded 150 head, which were disposed of with 90 on the way at from 14s 3d to 21s. Gbeyhouth, September 18. A large number of sheep and cattle were brought into market consequent upon the high prices at the last saie. Bullocks, ranged from £6 9s to £8 10s Wanganui bringing top prices ; beef, 22s 6d per 1001 b; 600 penned sheep fetched from los 6d to 16s 4d ; mutton 3d per lb.
