The Feilding team journeyed to Marton on Saturday) and after a very good game, placed another win to their credit, beating the Marton team by 1 point to nil. The following players j represented Feilding : — Full-back : ! Keen; three-quarters: Parr, Say well, and Smith; halves: Henry and Watts; forwards : J, Whisker, Terry, Fowler, Evans, Hodges, Dixon, Halcombe, M., and J. Belfit. In the first spell Henry obtained a try. Say well took the kick but failed to increase the score. In the second term Maiton played with the wind in their favor but were unable to equalise matters, the visiting forwards playing with j more combination than they did in the first spell. . Whisker, Terry, Evans, Parr, and Smith, were the most prominent for the victors, while Harrison, Tennent, Trott, Higgen, and Hawke, were the most noticeable for Marton. Neither club was represented by their strongest team. The visitors were entertained with a dinner after the match by the Marton club.
