The New Zealand Railway returns for four weeks ended 23rd June show gross receipts of £71,382 as against £73,062 last year, and expenditure £50.877, against £53,418. On the Wellington line the receipts and expenditure were respectively £4078 and £4103, compared with £4465 and £3485 last year. The public will be pleased to learn that S. J.
