At the inquest to-day on tbe body of the man Collins, who died under suspi-. cious circumstances at Botany on Sunday week last, a verdict of wilful murder was returned against Mrs Collins. 'Ihose of the crew of the schooner Luscania who are required to give evidence in the charge of murder against Theodore Hansen, have been arrested as it is was feared they were about to desert. The football match between the English and Kyneton was won by tbe former by two goals to one. Melbourne, July 25. Another of the Children poisoned by an escape of gas on Wednesday night has succumbed. The others are recover ing. Received July 26, 1.11 p.m. Bed-bane, Thi? Day. An attempt was made last night to rob the North Queensland Bank, but was unsuccessful. The Clerk fired at the burglar, and wounded him.
