Two Australian wheat cargoes have been sold for shipment to the Continent at 33s 3d to 33s 6d ; two others were also sold, one at 33s 9d, and the other at 33s 7 jd. For cargoes of new crop buyers offer 335 ; New Zealand long berried is quoted at 34s to 34s 6d. The number of bales of wool catalogued since the opening of the series is 266,200; of these 253,400 hare been sold. Merino sorts are firm. Crosßbreds irregular and slightly weaker. At auction Australian tallow realised the following prices : — Mutton, 22s 6d ; beef, 21s 9d. New Zealand 5 per cents, 106£; New Zealand 4 per cents inscribed, 98*. Melbourne, July 19. Wheat, 3s 3d ; flour, stone made, £7 ; roller flour, £8 ; New Zealand oats, 3s 2d ; tartarian, 2s 8d ; bran and pollard, quiet ; Queensland white sugar, £21 10s. Sydney, July 19. Oats, bright milling, 2s 3d to 2s 3£d ; heavy feed, 2s 2d ; good feed, 2s to 2s Id; maize, steady, 2s 9d; bran, dull, New Zealand 9d, local 9£d; pollard, quiet, 9Jd ; Potatoes, New Zealand 75s to 80s, Ballarat 755, Circular Heady 80s ; onions, Victorian, £7 to £7 10s ; wheat, good chick, 2s lOd to 38 ; malting, 3s 3d ; local, 3s sd ; cheese, local s£d to 7d, New Zealand 6£d to 7d. There is full supply. Butter, best Is 6d, second quality 9d to Is Id; bacon (market glutted), local 4d to 6d, Now Zealand 7s to 8d ; hams, lid to Is.
